Corgi H2GO RC Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car

The H2GO educates people on the renewable energy of everyday water, whilst providing a fun environment for learning.

Powered by solar energy, the refuelling station splits water by electrolysis into its two basic elements, oxygen and hydrogen, which is captured for use as power for the car. When the car is turned on, the on-board fuel cell produces an electric current from hydrogen, which in turn powers the motor and the back wheels.

Refuelling Station:
The refuelling station is powered by solar energy collected by the solar panel. The station charges in under 4 minutes and lasts for approximately 1 hour. Users fill the refuelling station with water (max capacity is 40CCs), which in turn is split into it’s components Oxygen and Hydrogen the latter of which will provide the energy used to power the car.

RC Car:
The H2GO is powered by hydrogen but delivers the same high performance and manoeuvrability of other traditional RC cars. Once charged via the refuelling station, H2GO can run standalone for approximately 4-5 minutes. When power runs low, the car can be immediately recharged with another boost of hydrogen – this is in contrast with standard RC cars where although playtime is approx 15 minutes, batteries take a long period to recharge. The car currently has two speeds – 2.4 kph and 3.7 kph.

Remote Control:
Controlling the movement of the car, the remote control has the standard up/down and left/right toggles. It has a small rechargeable battery, which is recharged via the solar panel, giving it many hours of play.

Solar Panel:
The solar panel collects solar energy to power both the refuelling station and the remote control. It connects to both via an attached cable.
