Grenadine is a red syrup made from pomegranate and red currents or cherry juice with sugar. It is most commonly used in cocktails for flavour and creates a red or pink tinge. Popular cocktails with grenadine include Tequila Sunrise, Cherry Bomb and Shirley Temple cocktails.
