Similar to the cocktail glass, a martini glass is a piece of stemmed glassware with a flared, conical shape bowl. It is primarily used to serve either shaken or stirred martini cocktails, but may also be used for other short cocktails, such as the Manhattan or cosmopolitan. A martini glass typically holds between 5oz and 10oz and the wide bowl was designed to allow the drinker to enjoy the aromas of the cocktail.
