Pilsner Glass

Glossary of Terms

A pilsner glass is a type of beer glass with a tall, elongated design and is flared at the rim and the base. Smaller than a pint glass, a pilsner will typically hold 10oz to 16oz and is named after and designed for the Czech lager. Used to serve both draught and bottled pilsners, lagers and ales, the pilsner glass is a popular choice as it enhances the colour and carbonations of the beer, while the board top helps maintain the head.
