Pressed Kaffir Lime edible leaves are used across Asian cuisine and widely used in Thai cuisine for dishes such as ‘Tom Yum’. In Vietnamese cuisine they add fragrance to chicken dishes. Alternatively, they can be used to infuse flavour into desserts, ice creams and sorbets.
They can also be used to garnish cakes, desserts and drinks. Pressed Lime leaves would go beautifully on their own to decorate a cake or could be accompanied by some of the vibrant flowers from our edible flower range.
As with all our pressed edible leaves, they’re very delicate so be careful when pushing into buttercreams and fondants. The pressed Kaffir Lime would sit nicely on top of a citrus cheesecake or lemon meringue.
